About the owner:
Hello my name is Scotty Rosatto and I would like to thank
you for stopping by and visiting our web site. We are excited to see our
web site is growing, and our company also, for that matter. We owe it all
you, thank you Acadiana for your continued business and support!
Let me tell you a little about myself (for those of you who
want to know).
I have been working with computers now for about 12 years
and I personally have seen a lot change in this fast paced industry.
When I was just a youngster, still in high school, many
moons ago, I remember working with the 8088's. Now let me tell you, we
thought we had it all! Little did we realize that 10 or 15 Years later,
we would be looking at 400 MHz Processors and up.
I have been around to watch this field change dramatically.
As fast as our society is growing, it is hard for a technician, such as we, to
keep up with the computers of today. With this in mind, we strive to make
our technicians knowledgeable and to help our customers understand what and
how to buy. We understand the average consumer doesn't understand this
complex business, so we are determined to communicate with our customers, to
help them make the right purchase for their own needs.
What started us in this business?
Boy do I have an interesting story to tell you:
My first personal computer was a 286. I remember
working on systems which had no hard drives and everything was stored on
Diskettes. The only operating system at that time was DOS. We had
great (Yeah Right) programs such as Word Star, (which was one of the first
Word Processors of it's day).
Now these programs are nothing like we see today. If
you wanted to do anything, then you had to remember "certain
commands". There were no mice or no pretty Windows around. In
fact, you could only do one thing at a time, there were no multitasking
environments.
In those days, remembering commands were common, and we
never thought twice about it. I guess it was like remembering 2+2=4.
I must admit, some commands were very confusing and there
were no pretty color screens like there are today. All you had was a
Black Screen, with a C:> or an A:> , if you wanted to do anything you had
to "give it a command".
Anyway, after I heard about Windows 3.1, wanted to go and
buy myself a new computer. So I heard about these new 486's. So I
went out and bought the first one that looked good. It just so happened to
be an ole PS/2 IBM 486/25 and boy did I think I was doing good.
I didn't' know anything about computers, and I bought the
first computer that looked good. Little did I know the computer I had
purchased, was without a CD ROM and a Soundcard, something I quickly came to
miss. So I decided to go out and purchase a multimedia kit.
Afterwards, I called a few computer shops to install my new toy.
After a few phone calls, I became very discouraged.
Most companies were rude and didn't want to help me once I told them what kind
of computer and sound card I had. One company did offer 200.00 to put it
in. I asked myself, "Do I have 200.00 to spend for someone to install
this thing, when I had already paid 250.00 for the Multimedia Kit itself.
Well I took it upon myself to try to install it myself.
So with a little bravery, I decided to start putting parts in my computer.
Well 4 days and no hair later, I did. Then I realized, boy there is a lot
I have
to learn about computers, but in the same token, I suddenly became obsessed with
finding out more about them.
12 Years and many wrinkles later, I am now a Certified A+
Technician. Wow...
What this all boils down to: We have learned from our
own experience, that the computer business, can be dirty. Many companies
we find, have the "Do ya want it or not" type of attitude. We
would like to try a different approach. We want to make the computer
industry a cleaner and more appreciated business. That is why we believe
in striving to make our customers feel confident and assured that we have done
the best job possible.
After 10 years in business, our company has grown
tremendously.
We owe all of our thanks to our new and continued
customers. Thank you!
Please send correspondence to, we would love to hear what
you have to say:
